Man, talk about a blast from the past. While rummaging through old stuff looking for TMNT Valentine's cards of all things, I happened to find a notebook with several sketches of Mai, Vanessa and others as I was practicing how to draw them for the series. When I found the sketch of the original 4 when I was just designing them. And this was before people like Raven, Ivan or even Kitty were considered into the storyline.
Anyways, after a bit of editting here and there, here's the cast of the Usako VS Series.
Usako Man- The main character. He used to screw lots of VG women before he fell in love with Kitty and decided to stick with her. However the women won't leave him be. His faves are King and Yuri from KOF, Karin from SFA and April O'Neil from the classic TMNT show. In relation with the others, he's good friends with everyone especially Tribal, Raven and Jenni, is Kitty's boyfriend and has Benja as his bodyguard.
Tribal Style- AKA Pencil Pimp- One of the biggest pervs around out for VG, anime and toon poontang. Fuck first, ask later. His leading ladies are Hannah Dundee and Leona, though he sneaks with Elena when Karrell's not lookin'. His perversions are so great that Morrigan thinks claiming his soul will help her rule Makai, which is why she follows him so much. In relation with the others, he's best friends with Usako and Karrell, though Karrell and him bicker alot and even get into fist-fights over Elena.
Joe Sarran- Reffered mostly by his last name, Sarran is most often than not the voice of reason when even Usako loses his head. Though he likes women like Chun Li and Mai, he preffers the younger cuter babes. Hence why his fave females are Kula from KOF, Skuld from Oh My Goddess and Xiaoyu from the Tekken games. In relation with the others, he's best friends with Usako, Tribal, Karrel and Raven.
Karrell Loader- The tough guy of the bunch and a basketball fan. When things get tough, he's usually the first to fight. Though he's good friends with everyone, he's usually fighting with Tribal over Elena. However, he does have Christie Montiero all to himself. In relation with the others, he's best friends with Usako, Tribal and Sarran, though he usually bickers with Tribal.
Kitty Kross- Usako's girlfriend and one tough cookie. She loves him dearly but is tired of dealing with all of his 'fangirls', mostly Yuri and Karin. After dealing with them so often, she learned martial arts moves and the Kitty Hame Ha. She also has certain male suitors in the form of Wufei from GW, Hiei from YYH, K and Robert from the KOF series and even Yamcha from Dragonball Z. Kitty's best friends are mostly Kat, Raven and Jenni, though Raven's unexpected advances annoy her. Benja is also her 'bodyguard' and reffers to her as 'boss lady'.
Kat Jule- Kitty's best friend from before they met the gang. Mostly quiet and reserved, she's also the voice of reason when things get too crazy. She has a rather interesting taste in men, namely Freeza from DBZ, Sesshoumaru from Inu Yasha and Frodo from the LOTR series. Kat is mostly friends with Kitty, Raven and Jenni and probably hangs out the least with the guys.
Ivan Drago- The unlucky member of the team. Usually late or never around when the rest get their funtime with the ladies, sometimes he's even killed off only to return in the next 'episode' good as new. Even so, he never gives up and still has hopes to lose his innocence to Jessie from Pokemon. He's also the 'driver' of the group, usually with a vehicle ready when the gang needs transportation. Ivan gets along great with the rest of the gang, though many are wary when he drives or flies them around due to his past history.
Yuu Kamino- One of the first new playas to join up. Mostly a big fan of RPGs, he goes more for the RPG and anime girls where the others seem to preffer fighting game women. He has several faves like Tifa Lockhart and Princess Ashe, but he's usually captured by I-No and Ivy and used as their toy. He's also armed with the power of 'knows-a-guy'. How did he accomplish this and that? He knows a guy. Kamino mostly gets along great with Empty, due to their similar tastes in anime and games.
Empty Ani- Another new Playa that joined when he met Belldandy and the Goddesses. Since then he not only lives with anime and game babes like Rei Ayanami and Iroha from Samurai Shodown, but thanks to Washu inventing a special kind of device, anime girls can come and go as they please and take out their sexual frustrations with him in his house. Due to this, Empty is usally the one to go to for advice or info on anime and RPG games. In relation to the others, Empty gets along better with Usako, Raven and Kamino.
Raven Raver- The busty lusty goth girl that joined the team after an encounter with Jedah from Darkstalkers. Unlike Kitty and Kat, Raven seeks out both guys and girls from her favorite anime series and is more daring and outgoing. Good at seduction, she tries to work her charms on an unexpecting Jenni Forth. She also owns an impressive videogame collection from new and old whenever the gang needs help or advice. In relation to the others, Raven gets along the best with Jenni, Kitty, Empty and Usako, and tries to seduce all four of them at times.
Dreamweaver- The mysterious vigilantee that fights crime at night. He's a good friend of the gang, though he doesn't hang out with them often. Usually when a situation requires action, he's there in his black trenchcoat and Trunks-style sword. Even though he's the spitting image of Tribal, he's his own guy. His fave girls are Felicia from Darkstalkers and Blair Damme from SF EX + Alpha. Due to his 'crime-fighting' status, he mostly gets along with Alex Aeon.
Jenni Forth- One of Usako's longtime online friends that moved in to live in their town. Though mute, she has a lot to say, which she expresses with her Genma-style signs she can whip out of nowhere, which she can also use as weapons. She shares Usako's extreme admiration (and lust?) over April O'Neil, which she feels either as strongly or even stronger than he does over the yellow-clad reporter. Besides Usako, Jenni gets along the best with Kitty and Raven.
Brian Janus- Usually shy and quiet, but when his split personality Xana kicks in, he becomes a homocidal maniac. Once knocked out, Xana becomes Brian again, without memory of what he's done. Any extreme emotion can trigger it, from lust to fear, which is usually a huge hindrance to the team. His fave girl is Ashley Graham. Brian gets along the best with Arika and Usako, as they tend to overlook the risk of Xana appearing more than the others.
Benja Knuckles- Big, strong, proud and drop-dead sexy, Benja is the unofficial bodyguard of Usako and the gang, wether they want to or not. Always around to serve, even when not needed, he doesn't mind gettin some poontang on the side. Even though 'the boss' and 'boss lady' can't get rid of him, sometimes his strength and vast fortune come in handy. Benja's best friends are Usako and Kitty, wether they want to or not, though he also gets along with Alex when it's fight time. Though if you were to ask him, 'everybody loves me!!'
Alex Aeon- The official superheroine of the VS Series and hArtists. Whenever things get too hectic for normal fighters like Karrell, Benja or even Dreamweaver, Alex is on the job. With a major addiction for Red Bull, which is the Spinach to her Popeye, her super powers include flying, super strength, shooting energy blasts and creating a small forcefield to defend herself. In relation with the others, Alex gets along best with Usako and Kitty in her normal persona and Dreamweaver and Benja in her Superheroine form.
Joe Sinister- Another new playa discovered by Ayane from DOA at the DOA4 Fan Day. He soon met the others and decided to stick around. Though his fave girl is Ayane, he's out to score with more. He's a practicing martial artist and likes to use the nunchucku as his weapon. Though still new with the group, Joe gets along fine with the rest of the cast, though his fighting skills might get him closer to Alex, DW and Benja.
Arika Starblaze- Yet to appear in the series, she is Brian's childhood friend and the only one that can reach him when his Xana personality gets too powerful. She's a tad shy and reserved, but also a tough tomboy. Whenever Brian gets out of line, she shoves him into a box and kicks it over a cliff. In relation with the others, Arika's best friend is Brian, and she might get along with the rest of the female cast once they get to know her better.
And there we go, Epic VS Series history lesson!

Well it's time for another log entry and more info on what I've been working on. Besides continuing the Farewell Chun Li story, and also finally finding the time to draw that oh-so-promised 'Usako VS Lilith' pic, I finally drew the first few pages of the Alliance, which will hopefully be seen later this week. Trying to keep a more manga feel, I drew the 'Chapter 1' pin-up page, as well as Intro-page or whatever it's called that most anime have that have pics of the characters in the story and a brief summary of what's going on so far. As already mentioned a guy I know at work will do the actual 'manga volume cover' and Kitty will use her 1337 comp skills to color it. I'll probably start actual story-pages next week.
For actual chapters I already have the first 2 chapters in my head (and saved on my comp) and I'm already going through with the third chapter. It's kind of a funny process to get things approved. First I run it over with my wife, and she gives the general ok or 'that sounds kinda dumb'. Then I run it over with Jenni, the US comic buff for her input. Then I go to Raven, who is the only other character in the story so far for her input as well as making sure Raven Akechi's portrayal is ok, you know, the whole 'I'd never say that/act like that' kinda thing. Of course, once the other characters like Jenni, Benja and Brian are introduced they'll go through the same thing. Finally I run it over with the guy at work, who looks at things more objectively and realistically and tell me if the general idea 'works' or not.
That sums it up for now. I'll try to draw more character sketches of some of the later characters too. Let's hope this series is as loved as the VS series. Since the Alliance will be non-hentai, I'm also considering putting it up on DeviantArt. What do you think?

Well, after months of planning and whatnot, I finally posted up the very first sketches of the first few characters seen in the upcoming Alliance story. I won't spoil too much except it will be a non-hentai series regarding the Sanchez brothers entering the world of superheroes, most of which form a world-wide government organization called The Alliance. The sketches show the characters appearing in the first few chapters, namely the Sanchez brothers Mark and Johnny, Raven Akechi, a younger Alex Aeon due to her appearance being a flashback, and Khaos, the villian she faces in said flashback.
The series will have a mix of people I know and all-new characters. Mark Sanchez is another 'me' character, that is probably the 3rd so far, Usako Man (of course) and Chris from the Lemon fanfics I used to make. Johnny Sanchez is based on my younger bro, and has no VS Series equivalent, though he is the inker of the series known as Roshi 08 and has drawn a few Usako Series- TMNT comics himself. Raven Akechi is of course, Raven Raver's new interpretation, and we already know Alex Aeon, don't we? Other characters from the VS Series or hArtists that will be in the story with different forms will be Kitty, Jenni, Kamino, Brian, Benja, Joe Sinister, Joe Sarran and The Big Mansini, though not all of them will be good guys. Even so, half the main cast will be all-original characters too such as Khaos. It also looks like we'll have a few guest artists doing the covers and such as I already have Joe Sinister willing to do a cover or two, and I have a friend at work that also gained interest in the story and wants to do the very first cover.
As for the regular VS Series, not much else to report. The Chun Li story continues and hopefully a new page will be posted up tonight. And Usako will crossover with hArtists again as I intend to draw a VS pic of Usako VS Lilith, everyone's fave succubus queen from hArtists, as well as make an Usako VS Lilith short story later on down the line to form part of the second Usako Compilation.
In case you're wondering, the first Compilation will gather 'Usako VS Delilah', 'Usako and Alex', Usako meets Dark DP', 'Light VS Ivan' as well as 2 short non-dialogue stories featuring the Playas screwing random game and anime girls drawn by Joe Sinister, and a special 4-page story Godrifle drew for me containing Usako and Asuka from Tekken. I have ideas for the second Compilation, and hopefully some guy at hArtists can do a short Usako VS 'whoever' story to add for that one.
Well, off to work I go. Work takes time away from drawing, but eh.. you gotta pay the bills, right?

Things are goin ok and the Farewell Chun Li story continues at a slow but steady pace. I hope to wrap this one up quick. Also like I said before, here are some brief bios on some of the major game/anime/toon girls that have a larger impact in the story. They all have their own stories in their original media so I'll just cover what they do in the VS series.
Chun Li (SF series)- A good friend of the guys, she lost her virginity to Usako, as did Usako, Tribal, Karrell and Sarran (and later Yuu Kamino) all lost theirs to her. She might have joined the Sisterhood if she wasn't so busy with her policework. Of the girls, Chun Li is free to do the Playas, but she only does Usako on several occasions, since she holds greater regard towards Kitty than the others.
Mai Shiranui (KOF/Fatal Fury series) - Anyone that knows about Mai and Andy's relationship should know just how sexually frustrated she'd be. A fun-lovin gal, she enjoys getting nailed maybe a little too much, as she does it with all the Game Playas on several occasions. She was the first to come up with the idea of the VG Sisterhood and is the kinda/sorta leader of the group.
Yuri Sakazaki (AOF/KOF series) -She came up with the plan to use a Virtual Reality cybercafe as a way to get to the Playas. When she lost her virginity to Usako, it was love (lust?) at first sight and she's been following him ever since. Not content with just sex, she actually loves him and wants to be his girlfriend. This makes her one of Kitty's most constant rivals.
Karin Kanzuki (SF Alpha) -The spoiled rich girl must have everything she wants.. and after she lost her innocence to Usako in a massage parlor, she wants Usako. It's hard to say if she really loves Usako or it's just a 'must have what she can't have' mentality, but she is another girl after him, which makes her a fierce rival for Yuri and Kitty. Unlike Yuri, Karin is also slightly more underhanded. Her own ego also convinces her that Usako only wants her and will eventually leave Kitty for her in the end anyway.
King (KOF/AOF series) -She first met Usako while drunk at a victory party over finally winning a KOF and forced herself on him. After sobering up, she thought it was the other way around and hated him. However she couldn't deny how good their romp felt and after having another go with Usako under more consensual means, she continued sleeping with him. While she holds a soft spot for Usako since of all the KOF women she's 'his favorite' and he's her 'number one fan' which he admires and respects greatly, she respects Usako and Kitty's relationship and doesn't try to break it up. In fact, most of Yuri and Karin's attempts to 'snatch him away' from Kitty sicken her, as do the other girls' big orgies and seemingly endless hunger for sex. Whenever she does get in the mood however, she knows all she'd had to do is ask since Usako can't resist her advances. While she owns an L'Amore in South Town within the KOF universe, she opened up a second L'Amore in Usako's town for extra bucks and to keep tabs on him. Due to this she was forced to 'sponsor' the Sisterhood as well as use her resteraunt as kind of front for their orgies with the guys. She also sometimes hires Benja as an extra bouncer for her resteraunt/bar.
Athena Asemiya (KOF series) -She lost her virginity to Usako in the same VR set-up Yuri did, where she actually had to take Yuri's place when Usako's stamina was outlasting her. Since then she has had casual sex with Usako and the rest of the Playas. She respects Kitty and is one of the few VG girls to be good friends with her, despite still having the occasional romp with Usako.
Nabiki Tendo (Ranma 1/2 series) -After Ranma and Akane finally got married, Nabiki's lustful desires led her to Usako. After blackmailing him into her bedroom, she decided to use his friends to sex up the other Ranma female suitors who were left behind when Akane took their main goal away. Since then Nabiki has always been trying to find ways to get another go at Usako, or try to get money from the rest of the gang in exchange for important information she might have at the time.
April O'Neil (Classic TMNT) -The yellow-clad news reporter was probably Usako's biggest fantasy, and the moment he became a Game Playa, she became his first target. Since then they've enjoyed an on-and-off sexual relationship though they're also good friends. Like King, she doesn't pursue Usako too often, nor does she try to take him from Kitty. But also like King, all she has to do is ask and Usako is hers for the night. With the introduction of Jenni into the story, April now has to avoid her advances.
Hannah Dundee (Cadillacs & Dinosaurs) -Just like Usako went to April, Hannah was Tribal's first target when he achieved Playa status. However, Hannah has developed deeper feelings for Tribal and gets quite upset when she catches him with anyone else. This puts her at odds with Tribal's other girl, Leona.
Elena (SFIII)- Elena started out having sex with the Playas at the massage parlor, but being the strong object of desire of both Tribal and Karrell led to them fighting over her several times. Elena is considered mostly Karrell's girl, though she still sleeps with Tribal when he's not around. She means well, she just can't decide over the two and sees the sex as fun without taking it too seriously. However she did seem upset when Karrell started going with Christie Montiero as his second main girl.
Belldandy- (Oh/AH My Godess)- Apparantly after Keiichi passed on (he's only human after all) Belldandy was alone until she was accidentaly called up by Empty Ani. Due to strange rules due to bugs in 'the system' as well as Empty's unintended wish, she was bound to be Empty's sexslave. She did fall in love with him however and lives happily with him. She understands Empty's preverted nature and doesn't mind that he sleeps with other anime and game girls, as long he always comes back to her.
Morrigan Aesland (Darkstalkers) -Probably the most changed character of the series. Due to being a succubus she's always stopped from having sex with the guys over fear she's take their soul during the act. But when she saw visible signs of aging, she resorted to try to take the soul of the most perverted guy she knew, Tribal. While his friends backed him up, she would continue to try again. In time her goal became to get Tribal's soul because she thinks it will make her powerful enough to overthrow Jedah and Demitri and become ruler of the Makai. After being rejected from joining the VG Sisterhood, she formed her own version, the Evil Sisterhood. Morrigan's powers change depending on where she is. In the VG world, all characters are dead even since anyone can win or lose in a fighting game. In the real world the sole fact that she's a succubus and most other VG women are regular humans, make her all that much more powerful. When in VG Hell, her powers double, which are probably a bit more than when she's in the real world. While it was shown that in the real world and VG Hell she can practically take on the Sisterhood singlehandedly, she seems dead even with Alex and still can't get past Kitty's Kitty Hame Ha.
VG Sisterhood- Started by Mai Shiranui, Blue Mary and Yuri Sakazaki, and 'sponsored' by King, the main purpose of the group is to be able to stay in the real world indefinitely to make it easier to sleep with the Playas. Otherwise they'd have to wait for the next Fan Day to take place. They do this by making Capcom/SNK think they're staging publicity for their upcoming games, but actually they use L'Amore as a front for their funtime with the guys. The other members are Athena Asemiya, Moe Habana, Maki Genryusai, Cammy White, and Vanessa. Much to some of the older memnbers' dismay, their battle cry is VG SISTAHS.. UNITE!!!
Evil Sisterhood- Founded by Morrigan so that she can have her own group when rejected from the original Sisterhood. Morrigan leads Vice, Mature and Shermie in her continuing attempts to steal Tribal's soul or other things. In Farewell Chun Li, Morrigan was to get a new sprite in the upcoming SF4, in which Chun Li was to die. Having the Playas and Sisterhood try to save Chun Li would ruin the game and might have cost Morrigan her sprite, so the Evil Sisterhood ambushed them in Hell. However, Vice, Mature and Shermie only care about getting a good fuck, and more often than mot they'd rather fuck than help Morrigan fight. Their battle cry is EVIL SISTERHOOD.. DESTROY!!
And that's basically it for now guys. Sure the Playas have scored many women in their wake, but these particular women have caused more impact in the story and some (like Chun Li in particular) have even had entire stories dedicated to them. In an upcoming blog I'll give some info on some of the guys that Kitty runs into. See ya then, and keep checking for more Farewell Chun Li and Usako VS MKA pages.

Well in this blog entry I decided to dedicate some time to the co-stars of the Usako VS Series, the anime/game/toon girls themselves. Well, unlike any other series, in this one the characters are fully aware that they come from said show/game/anime and react accordingly. This mostly affects fighting games. Where Chun Li was to avenge her father's death on Bison in the first Street Fighter 2 game, it was all real to her the first time... but after Champion Edition, Turbo, Super, Super Turbo and even hints that Bison might be back in the upcoming SF4.. to Chun Li as a character, she already knows she's been doin the same thing over and over. She also feels a sudden de-aging when SF Alpha came along, and a sudden re-aging in SF III Third Strike. This is shown in the current Farewell Chun Li story where Sakura noticed her sudden adult status in SF4 and how Karin was angry that she was left behind as a teenager.
The main focus on the story lies that just like you never see sex in the games or cartoons, the characters are either sexually frustrated like Mai that will never get some from Andy... or just plain innocent and naive about sex altogether for more wholesome characters like Princess Peach or even the Totally Spies where the main characters might have boyfriends but never get past kissing on their show. Such sexual frsutration leads the characters to the real world where they meet and screw the 'Real-Worlders' AKA the Game Playas. Other than sex, the characters might be limited in other ways... for example characters from Samurai Shodown and Soul Calibur wouldn't know what a TV is, let alone a DVD player....
The main reason the game girls choose the Playas rather than just any other guys at random was explained a bit in 2D VS 3D Contest and explained somewhat further in Usako VS DOA4 and Usako VS MKA. While anybody else would treat the girls like crap cause they're 'nothing but fictional characters' or like nameless sex objects, the Playas actually care and idolize them and are good friends with them when sextime is over. Another thing is the Playas' particular sexual endurance that outlast regular humans that is able to knock the game girls off their feet. As fantasy characters that can't be seriously hurt or killed unless stated otherwise, the Game Playas are the only ones that can screw them to the point of near-exhaustion. As explained in the newer stories, the Game Playas seem to give off a certain vibe that the girls can notice to let them know that they're the right guys to go after. All the Playas will give off this vibe, even the women, which will be later shown in Usako VS MKA when Mei Lin is confused to feel the same vibe coming from Raven.
Another thing to notice... the characters are still confined to the rules of their shows and games. A fictional character can never truly die in the real world since you're always gonna see them the next time you watch their tv show or play their game. In Farewell Chun Li's case, the reverse is also true because if the powers-at-be decide said characters must die in their medium, nothing can be done to stop it. Also, the characters can have unprotected sex like crazy, since STDs hardly ever exist in cartoons/anime/games, they'll never catch any. Plus, they also can never get pregnant unless their show says so. And even then, they'd have the child of said character from their show, not a real-worlder. There's also an un-written rule that the characters aren't allowed to harm or kill Real-Worlders, because after all without their fandom they wouldn't exist. This doesn't neccesarily stop certain characters like Morrigan from getting what they want. Another thing is the characters can live on as long as their fandom does. April O'Neil might be from the 80's TMNT show, but the DVDs and undying classic Turtle fandom keeps her around.
Well, I guess this blog entry got a little long so I'll mention specific characters and their involvement in the series next time. I guess it kinda shows just how much thought I put into this series. All I got left to say is stay tuned for the next page of Farewell Chun Li since it will explain some info on Kitty's infamous Kitty Hame Ha.
